The Structure Analysis Of KAIMIAO Electric Tailgate Strut
In recent years, with the rapid development of technology in the automotive industry, automobiles have become more and more intelligent and humane. With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, people have higher and higher requirements for the comfort of cars. In order to meet the needs of people, some intelligent and humanized technologies are constantly being used in automobile manufacturing, so that the control of automobiles has gradually changed from traditional mechanical systems to electronically controlled mechatronics systems, which has greatly improved the drivers'comfort. Since the SUV body is relatively large and the tailgate is heavier than ordinary cars, if the tailgate is manually opened and closed, the operation will become very inconvenient. Therefore, most SUV cars are equipped with an electric tailgate system. KAIMIAO is a professional electric tailgate supplier in China.
The automobile electric tailgate control system is composed of a controller (ECU), a strut, a suction lock, an anti-pinch strip, a buzzer, a switch unit, and a sensor. The control flow is shown in the figure:
The electric strut is one of the important components of the electric tailgate system. It consists of an inner support rod, an outer support rod, a precision booster spring, a planetary gear set, a built-in threaded sleeve, a high-precision screw and a motor. Its structure is as follows As shown in the figure. When the ECU receives the opening command, the opening action is completed by the strut module, and the built-in motor of the strut starts to work. The motor is decelerated by the planetary gear system and then drives the threaded screw, which converts the motor's rotary motion into the linear motion of the threaded screw. The positive transmission of the motor causes the support rod to extend and the tailgate gradually opens. During the opening process, the thrust of the motor and the elastic force of the coil spring in the strut together overcome the gravity of the tailgate to open the tailgate. When the ECU receives the closing command, the built-in motor of the strut reverses, so that the planetary gear and the threaded screw are reversed, the support rod is pulled into the sleeve rod, and the tailgate is gradually closed. During the closing process, the pulling force of the motor and the gravity of the tailgate together overcome the compression force of the built-in coil spring to close the tailgate.
A fixing sleeve is fixedly installed in the first outer tube of our electric tailgate brace on the side close to the first end cover, and a shaft positioning assembly is installed on the fixing sleeve to prevent the screw rod from ejecting and separating from the gearbox under the action of the spring assembly. On the outer wall of the first outer tube close to the second end cover, there are guide protrusions extending in the axial direction at intervals around the circumference. The entire section of the inner wall of the second outer tube is axially arranged with the guide on the first outer tube Guide groove with convex fitting. Our electric struts on both sides of the tailgate have the same structure, which will not cause deformation due to uneven force on the tailgate, and the noise is low. The key parts adopt a threaded and riveted structure, which will not bounce off in response to the spring force, leading to failure or danger of the brace; the fixing method of the screw and the fixing sleeve is fixed by the bearing structure, and the brace is not easy to bounce. It has a waterproof structure design to ensure that the strut motor will not fail due to water leakage.
